How It Works
Every trade on Defi App generates fees. A portion flows to referrers through a multi-tier reward system.
The deeper you are in the Defi App ecosystem, the higher your revenue share.
Here’s how it breaks down…
You sit at the top of your referral chain.
You earn when people you invite trade, and when their referrals trade too, up to 3 levels deep.
Level 1: People you refer directly
Level 2: People referred by your Level 1
Level 3: People referred by your Level 2
Key rule: The total referral pool is always set by the trader’s direct referrer(Tier 1). No stacking.
That pool then splits across existing tiers.
If you are one step above the trader, you earn a Tier 2 share. If you are two steps above, you earn a Tier 3 share.
Your Referral Rate
Your rate depends on two things: your 30-day trading volume and your staked HOME value.
This rate determines the referral pool when your referrals trade.
Here’s the formula:
Referral Rate = Volume Tier % × Staking Boost
Volume Tiers (30-day rolling, spot + perps combined)
- Base: $0 — $10k → 10%
- Vol1: $10k — $1M → 15%
- Vol2: $1M — $100M → 20%
- Vol3: $100M+ → 25%
Staking Boosts
- $100 HOME staked → 1.10x
- $1,000 HOME staked → 1.25x
- $10,000 HOME staked → 1.50x
- $100,000 HOME staked → 1.75x
Max rate: 25% × 1.75 = 43.75%
To get the max rate, you need to do volume on Defi App, have referrals, and stake HOME.
Reward Split
How the referral pool divides depends on how many tiers exist in your referral chain:
- Tier 1 only: 100% to Tier 1
- Tier 1 + Tier 2: 70% / 30%
- Tier 1 + Tier 2 + Tier 3: 70% / 20% / 10%

Let’s walk through three scenarios using this referral chain:
YOU (top)
└─ Level 1: Alex (You referred, You are Tier 1 referral of Alex)
└─ Level 2: John (Alex referred, You are Tier 2 referral of John)
└─ Level 3: Mia (John referred, You are Tier 3 referral of Mia)
Case A) Level 1 (Alex) generates $100 in fees
Alex’s direct referrer is You, so Your rate sets the pool.
Let’s imagine You have Vol2 tier with $1,000 HOME staked, resulting in 25%(20% × 1.25) referral rate.
- Referral Pool = $100 × 25% = $25
- Only one tier exists above Alex (You), so there’s no split
- Tier 1 (You): $25 × 100% = $25
Result: You earn $25.
Pro tip: Higher Volume Tier + more HOME staked = higher earnings, up to 43.75%
Case B) Level 2 (John) generates $100 in fees
John’s direct referrer is Alex, so Alex’s rate sets the pool.
Let’s imagine Alex has Vol3 tier with $10,000 HOME staked, resulting in 37.5%(25% × 1.5) referral rate.
- Referral Pool = $100 × 37.5% = $37.5
- Only two tiers exist above John (Alex, You), so the split is 70/30
- Tier 1 (Alex): $37.5 × 70% = $26.25
- Tier 2 (You): $37.5 × 30% = $11.25
Result: Even when your Level 2 trades, you earn $11.25.
Case C) Level 3 (Mia) generates $100 in fees
Mia’s direct referrer is John, so John’s rate sets the pool.
Let’s imagine John has Vol1 tier with $100 HOME staked, resulting in 16.5%(15% × 1.10) referral rate.
- Referral Pool = $100 × 16.5% = $16.50
- Three tiers exist above Mia (John, Alex, You), so the split is 70/20/10
- Tier 1 (John): $16.50 × 70% = $11.55
- Tier 2 (Alex): $16.50 × 20% = $3.30
- Tier 3 (You): $16.50 × 10% = $1.65
Result: Even when your Level 3 trades, you earn $1.65.
